Locksmith - East Meadow area
We are planning on changing out the locks before we start moving all our stuff in. I have read that it's easy to do by yourself, but DH is not the most handy person, and I'm afraid I'll mess up the door or something.
Does anyone have a rec for a locksmith in the East Meadow area? Or is this lock changing process really so easy that I should just try it myself? TIA

Of course! It really is so easy. All we need is a screwdriver and the new lockset. I can go with you to Home Depot to pick one out or you guys can get it on your own. I'll bring screwdrivers since I'm sure all your stuff is packed.
My dad was teaching me how to do it one time and S&H were up. They were amazed that he knew how to do it. My dad still laughs about it.
