Back with some questions for the experts

Hi ladies,

I'm back, although trying not to be so obsessive as I previously was, as I nearly drove myself crazy!

I'm so happy to see a BFP for Ang&Shaun and Mrs. DeVito, I'm hoping for you!!!

Anyway, I have a few questions for the experts.

Firstly, I don't temp. I know I should, but I don't. I have noticable CM, but up to the day I get my Once I get that, I don't have the CM anymore. That seems like a red flag to me that maybe I O earlier than the CBE OPK is saying? Anyone have experience with this?

Secondly, anyone get a BFP after ONLY BDing on O day??? I got a smiley at 3:30 pm on Tue., but DH was away, so we didn't BD until 11 am Wed. I took another OPK at 7:30 am Wed and it was still positive. By that night it was negative. We BD'd again Wed. night.

Welcome back. Mrs.Devito has not gotten a BFP yet but we are all rooting for her!

Q1- I virtually had no CM for the first few months of TTC. I started using Robitussin and Evening Primerose and now I get a significant amount of EWCM around O time.

Q2- I havent gotten a BFP yet but I sure hope so. Ive heard that you can get a BFP after just Bding on O day. It only takes one shot.

ETA: by Wed. 11AM you may have still caught the end of your surge. Def. still possible!

I don't have too much experience with the CM stopping. Mine would continue for a few days after O. I also used CBEFM as well as CBEOPK's. And my CM always matched up with what the tests said. Have you looked up the diffferent types of CM to look for? It does change and there's specific kinds to tell if you are Oing.

As far as getting a BFP if you just BD on O day... we did this a few times.... but never got a BFP. I have found that for me personally it was better to BD before O and during O. We actually did Deanna's Plan, which works really well.

I do hear that it only takes one time and there are def girls who BD just once and ended up pregnant. Not sure if they did so on O day or a few short days before.

With the schedule you wrote... it could work but you could have also missed it. When you get the smiley that means you will O within the next 12-36 hours or so. So if you O'd on Tuesday then you might have missed it. But if you actually O'd on Wed then you might not have missed it. There's no real telling and anything is possible. But BD'ing more before O will substantially increase your chances of getting that BFP.

CM can come before O. It thins out later on so that might be why you don't notice it.
