induction is scheduled
I went in to see my Dr today (at 40w3d) and was very disappointed to find that I am still not dilated  Soooo, I am scheduled to go into the Hospital Sunday morning for my induction. Praying it all goes well and I'm able to meet my little girl by that night (or at least the following morning)

thank you!! It definitely feels good to have a set date at this point, but really annoying to still be pregnant and waiting

Go for a long walk today and eat spicy foods tonight and have sex. It helped me, I was suppose to be induced on a Sunday and I walked over for over 2 hours had the spiciest chicken wings I could find and had painful sex and it worked. Hopefully you won't have to be induced.

Nah, I've been doing EVERYTHING possible to induce my own labor at home and none of them work. So I've given up on that hope. I'm starting to think that when it does work for people, it's just coincidence.
I honestly do NOT see this baby coming out on her own at this point. Just gonna let it go and trust that the induction goes well.
So excited to meet my little girl!!!!

I don't know how much I believe it myself. I walked so much when I was pregnant that it didn't make a difference, but not so sure about the spicy food. I had really really spicy food and mixed with a good internal and it happened. I just didn't want to be induced because I wanted to go natural. Good luck!

yessss! I am really grateful that my Dr won't let me go longer than this. Hallelujah is RIGHT. haha. I'm just ready for her to be here - I've been ready for SO long that for baby girl to go past her due date was just plain mean. lol.
