Low placenta
So I had another sono today to check my placenta and it hasn't moved. I'm 27 weeks. When I went 4 weeks ago it moved up only a little but is still low and now this time didn't move at all I know many of you girls have had this, what were your experiences like? In most cases does it move? He said 90% chance that it will. Please give me hope!!
Good news though, I passed my one hour!! and Baby girl is 2.1 lbs!

Re: Low placenta
I had complete placenta previa around 16 weeks, & read that it never moves if it's complete. But, at my 20 week appt, it moved! It was still a little low, but no longer covering the cervix. Depending on how far along you are, my guess is that it'll move & be fine (although if you are anything like me, you'll be nervous until you hear that yours did move). I'm sure you'll be fine though :)

Re: Low placenta
I had a low placenta at 22 weeks. It moved up by my 28 week appoinment. Most of the time, it does move up plus you still have plenty of time. Don't stress!!

Re: Low placenta
take it easy!!! I was on a very strict "lay down after work" and no schedule. Sure enough it moved- try your hardest to rest and not walk around or be active!!!

Re: Low placenta
I have one too and the pressure I have is unreal. I'm still holding out hope that it moved. I go back to the dr on Wed and am going to ask for a sono to check. I'll keep my fingers cross for you (and me).

DON'T WORRY!!!
I was low right up until 32 weeks!!! In fact, my DR even told me "I don't think it's going to move to be honest" and then BAM--it did!!!
I wouldn't worry though. I had a friend who moved in her 38th week! Hang in there!

Re: Low placenta
I had an anterior placenta and complete placenta previa during my entire pregnancy. Mine never moved, but I still had a perfectly healthy 8 pound baby girl! Good luck!
