Do you use the bathroom after sex?
So, do you urinate after sex? If you do does it wash out the swimmers? LOL..sorry if this is a stupid question.. Is it best to not urinate or wipe after you have sex or does it not matter?

That is my first impulse, but the last month I have been laying with my feet up for like 15 minutes after. But even after 15 minutes, I feel like I am wiping them away :). So...I am interested to see the answers to this one.

I lay elevated for about 30 minutes after with a tissue that DH gives me in between my legs to prevent dripping. 
Then I run/waddle to the bathroom to pee and finish cleaning.

from what i have read once he is done.what is swimming up there will swim and holding legs up/laying down/peeing/wiping wont change that
some will def "fall" out
now in saying that i still lay for only like 10 min with legs up..but that is bc i am nuts

Yes, this is what Ive heard too..but I guess I am nuts too because I feel like Im losing all his swimmers if I go pee

It feels like ur peeing away all those valuable swimmers, right!!! I always have to go to the bathroom after, I don't want to get an infection. I'm prone to them.

I lay flat for 5-10 minutes with a little towel or washcloth so there is not drippage….eww! Then I pee and clean up with soap and water bc I hate UTI's and used get them alot.

This is why I pee.
I am on a low level antibiotic for UTI. Got like 3 of them when I first started dating DH, so the doc put me on this to stop UTI ONLY when having sex.
My thought is if you have your leggs up for a while (10-30 min) they aint coming out.

I really should.. because I get horrible UTIs.. but I do lay there for 30 mins before I go pee, and now I am wondering if that's not enough..

Yes - i have had many UTI's and they are not pleasant
my dr's said to always pee as soon as you can after sex to flush out any irritants/bacteria that cause infection
btw.. both my gyno and RE have said that lying with your legs up for any length of time does NOTHING. Once those guys are in there, the strongest ones are going to get to where they need to be, no matter what you do. The weaker ones that wouldn't make it anyway are the ones that will typically drip out
i know everyone feels better lying there.. but it doesn't really make much of a difference

lately, i've been waiting HOURS before i go pee... i know it's silly, but i'm with you girls, i feel like i'm peeing the swimmers right out!
normally, i always used to pee right after sex - i'm prone to UTI's as well

Like PP said, I have also hear that whatever's getting up there gets up there right in the moment, and nothing you do afterwards will affect it. I usually lay still for a couple minutes just because we're enjoying the afterglow  But then I always pee bc I don't want a UTI!!
