Re: IUI
I went to Reproductive Specialist of NY and saw Dr. San Roman although most of the RE's there are great. (I went to the Stony Brook office) Not sure why you need to know what hospital they are affiliated with because EVERYTHING is done in the office, IUI's, bloodwork, SA's, sonos, etc. Good luck with everything.
Before an RE does an IUI you're going to have to get bloodwork, an internal sono to make sure everything is okay, and your DH will have to submit a semen analysis (SA). Anyway, the RE's at RSONY are very thorough and I highly recommend them. My first IUI with them I conceived my DD, Emerson. <------------------ IUI #1

Same here. Also for an IUI it doesn't matter what hospital they are affiliated with. An IUI is a very minor noninvasive procedure.

Re: IUI
you could start by asking your gyno for a trusted recommendation
i also go to RSofNY in Mineola highly recommend them
you will need to go in for initial consult where the dr goes over your medical history, they'll order testing for both you and DH (hsg for you, SA for him), bloodwork, sono's etc and then the dr will work out the best course of treatment for you. You can't just walk in and say 'i'd like an iui please' IUI's are just one method of treating the problem and the dr should determine what's best for you.
the dr's at RSofNY are all affiliated with different hospitals, but it has no bearing on your treatment. You don't do anything in the hospital, everything is done at their facilities (or if you do need surgery they recommend an outpatient location for you to go to)
good luck!

ditto
It's a very quick procedure they do right in the office. He is in the room for maybe 2 minutes and the procedure takes about 30 seconds. No hospital needed. I think he is affiliated with winthrop though. Maybe others too.
