Scrambled Eggs
Do you put anything in it? I'd like to jazz up my scrambled eggs. Not much of a cook and DH doesn't want anything in it. I've tried cottage cheese and likes it. Any other ideas? A little something to make it a little fluffier and tastier?
thanks!

Re: Scrambled Eggs
I use cheese (whatever I have but usually cheddar), garlic powder and chives/green onions in mine.
Incidentally, I was in my late 20s before I learned how to make them well, thanks to this post...

Re: Scrambled Eggs
i usually add some chives, or even a pinch of marjoram
using water instead of milk helps get them fluffier too

Re: Scrambled Eggs
I sometimes throw in grated cheese - whatever I have. I also like to throw in some basil or oregano too. I sometimes make scrambeled eggs as a messy omelet. I throw in whatever I'd put in an omlet and scramble. That way i won't get upset if I flip it wrong. haha.

Re: Scrambled Eggs
I like Gordon Ramsey's method. I use eggs and butter - no water, no salt, no seasoning and work it. When it's almost cooked I throw in a little Red Hot and either Creme Fraiche (if I have it) or a lump of sour cream and stir it off heat. It's ridiculously good! Sometimes I add chives to finish.
If I want cheese or herbs I'll just put together a folded omelette. Yum.

Re: Scrambled Eggs
I always add s&p to my basic scramble.
sometimes I'll also add freshly grated parma and oregano.
I HATE any other cheese with eggs so that is pretty much it.
I get them pretty fluffy with some vigorous beating before pouring in the pan to get some air in there.

Your eggs sound good - I don't care for eggs and can not cook them. When DS wants an egg I microwave it

Re: Scrambled Eggs
I like tomatoes and onions mixed in with the eggs - it reminds me of the few things I ate when I studied at Beijing University.
When we are in Mexico, we will cook it with Mexican style chorizo (not spanish style and the stuff we get in mexico is not in a casing - I have yet to find that here) - in a fresh, hand made burrito with some avocado - YUM!
