Please help me anaswer this dumb question
I want to make sure I do this right.
Yesterday I got my period late afternoon....Does that mean Yesterday was CD1 or today is CD1?
I am determined to do this right.

was it full flow? if yes than thats CD1... if it was just spotting then today would be CD1

it was full flow this morning when i woke up. late afternoon it was kinda light, but not light enough to call it spotting.

When its enough that its necessary to change pads/tampons, then its day one.
Like Ang said, spotting doesn't count. "Full flow before midnight" is counted as cycle day 1.

BTW its not a dumb question. Sometimes its hard to figure out. You just have to use your best judgement.

I hate to through another wrench in here, but many sites, and many girls' doctors, say that if it is after 6pm count it as the next day.
