Yet another opk question ( cvs brand)
So I usually have a 29 day cycle I started to test cd 10 I usually o cd 15 anyway I have been testing but the test line was never as dark as the control line? This makes it so confusing I tested Christmas eve really late in the evening when we got home ( I forgot to test that day) but I had a few cocktails and I am wondering if my urine was diluted because there was a line but it wasn't so dark. yesterday there was a faint line and I just tested today and there's nothing! So should we bd anyway today or did I miss my window!?!? This never gets easy....

Re: Yet another opk question ( cvs brand)
The test line needs to be as dark as the control line or darker to be positive.
Perhaps you missed your LH surge because you didn't test all day, etc. But you still have some time before you actually O even if you missed your surge.
I have a box of the CVS brand ones, but I also have the CBE digital ones which I use to confirm once I see what looks to be a positive on a line test because there is some room for interpretation.
If you think you usually O on CD15 and you are still close to that, you might as well BD. It's not like it's water torture or something. Good luck!

For 3 days I only had a faint line and it was never darker than the control line. I continue to test a few days later and no line ever came up This cycle I didn't bother to buy more strips

Re: Yet another opk question ( cvs brand)
DH just bought me the cvs ones and I'm also getting a lighter test line. Of course I could be wrong, but I really think I'm fertile and the tests are wrong. Only my temps will tell me for sure. I'll keep testing and see what happens.

you should try to buy a few of the smiley OPK's.
This way when you start to get a line that you think could be getting close.. you have a better to read test on hand.. but you aren't spending a fortune using just smiley OPK's.
