Malverne PArty Shop is the BEST on LI for Italian desserts.
My other favorite bakery is: Reister's in West Hempstead and The Buttercookery in Floral Park.

i am soooo picky when it comes to italian pastries here are some things i love
jumbo cannolies at Fiorello Dolche in huntington (the cannoli cream is amazing and doesn't have that rummy taste) Everythig else is yummy here too
lobster tails at buttercooky (floral park or manhasset) the chantilly cream is one of the best ive had
italian jelly cookes from cardinali (westbury) traditionl and good, their fuit a de bosco is very good too.
I am a bit of a bakery snob hahah

Park Bake Shop in King's Park makes the MOST delicious cake with chocolate frosting and white accenting (best description I could muster!) Wish I had an excuse to go get one!

I like Jacqueline's in Babylon.
I could eat their lemon tarts ALL day long. They use butter instead of Palm oil and you can taste it!
Yum! I like them too! And they make the pastries look so pretty

I ordered a dulce de leche cake with fresh strawberries from here and it was great. I decided to go the morning of xmas eve to pick up dessert and let me tell you there was a line from the bakery all the way in front of King Kullen to get into the bakery! They even set up a tent and were giving out coffee and snacks to people waiting. There was no way I was waiting that long but it must be really good for people to wait outside in the cold

Same here  & I agree 100% with your picks. Buttercooky & Cardinali are my two favorite.

I'm not a fan of Jacqueline's- she was the only vendor I had a problem with on my wedding day. They screwed up my wedding cake!
