same boat here.
I discussed this with my doctor and was told that actually aerobic conditioning is very important when you are pregnant - you have a lot of extra blood going through your body so your heart needs to be in good shape. She advised trying to get into the best fitness as it helps with not feeling as tired during the pregnancy.
I want to loose 10 pounds before we start in April.
I also need to give up coffee!
Honestly not sure which will be harder

Re: Not quite-yet TTCers who want to get in shape...
I definitely wouldn't mind losing 3 to 5 lbs, but I really need to get in shape. Since having my DC, I just never regained muscle tone and don't really have the time to spend in the gym. I belong to a gym with babysitting now, so I am just going to make a month long commitment to really stick to it. Want to take the month of Jan to get into my zone and being in a better position to grow a baby! :)
