Refresh my Memory...
Reg poster in hiding. Thinking about #2, and just wanted to familiarize myself with the whole TTC process again. We haven't started yet, but probably will in a few months-- so, I just started with OPKs to see what's up with my cycle. My cycle has gotten much more regular since having my first-- so, I assume it will be a little easier to figure out this time around (I hope).
So, I got a positive OPK today on CD17. What is my "fertile" period again-- I can't remember. The 5 days leading up to the LH surge, and the 2 days after??
I was trying to find a calendar that they used to have on MyMonthlyCycles.com, but I can't find it.
Thanks!

Re: Refresh my Memory...
I've been using pregnology and according to them the 4 days prior to O and the day of O. So if you figure your LH surge is 12-48 hours before you O, maybe 3 days before positive OPK, day of positive and 2 days after. Good luck!

Re: Refresh my Memory...
thanks girls... so, I got another positive on the OPK this morning, so that's two mornings in a row.
Does that mean I will probably O tomorrow?

on the line test was the test line darker than the control line?
thats why i dont use the line tests because they are easy to misinterpret...
I never test after i see a smilie... you should O between 12-36 hours after the smilie... so i would say you should o some time tomorrow... make sure you for the next 2 or 3 days

Re: Refresh my Memory...
The line was darker than the control. The test line showed up before the control. I had been testing since CD12.
I like to use the line tests because they are cheaper, and I test 2 times a day-- when I get what looks to be a positive OPK, or close to it-- I use the digital to confirm.
Not TTCing yet-- still need a few doc appts out of the way, etc. Def hoping it happens much faster this time since I know what the hell is going on with my body this time around, and my cycles are much more regular.
