i have a story for you
hi girls, if you remember earlier this week i talked about all the girls in my bridal party's fertility issues. I said one of them had been trying for over a year. I just found out she's pregnant! But listen to this story, she missed her period but kept getting bfns. She went to the doctors and they kept saying it's just stress. No one would listen to her. Finally her pcp gave her a blood test and it came out positive. She went to the obgyn and they still pushed her off saying ok you're probably really early, we're not doing any tests. She complained enough that they gave her a sono and she was 9 1/2 weeks! The doctors were shocked. This whole time she'd been drinking and acting like normal. Isn't that crazy?

Thats so strange that the doctor wouldn't just send her for blood work. Some doctors are so weird about things like that.
Congrats to her though!

I guess last fall at the same time, she missed her period for a month and it most likely was stress related, so that is what the doctors kept saying this time, as she is a very stressed person. It's crazy, but it would be nice to almost be to 12 weeks and not worrying so much every minute. Oh and this is a new doctor. Her old doctor, who so many of my friends raved about, was around the first time she missed her period. Due to her weight struggles and thyroid issues, the doctor suggested she had PCOS which is why her period wasn't coming, when she asked what that was, the doctor said Google it. Can you fing believe that? So she's already switched doctors over incompetence.
