CBEFM.... help

So, I just got one from a friend and I have a few questions:

#1i read that you should not use it if someone else used it b/c its stores their information.... Has anyone used someone else's CBEFM and had any issues?

#2 I forgot to set it when I had my period... I was on CD6, but since it only let you set up to CD5, that is what I did, so I am a day off...anyway, today (CD9 on the machine but really CD10) was the first day it asked me to POAS, and it came up with the egg symbol... Obviously I should tonight, we on Sunday and Monday, did I screw up by not last night?

I used the CBEFM for 8 months.

1. I believe there is a way to reset the monitor, which I recommend you doing since you want it to get to know your body patterns. If you don't have the instructions, I'm sure their website will have the info on how to do it.

2. The monitor asked you for the first test stick on CD 9 . That's odd bc usually the first test stick is on CD 6. Or at least it was for me, but then again, I had shorter cycles so maybe mine was different..........which might be another good reason for you to reset it after this cycle. Definitely but there is a good chance that the monitor may be a little off due to the history it stored from your friends cycles.
