ladies who took clomid..

Did your gyn put you on clomid? Did you take it and bd and that was it? I am just curious because I took clomid for my 1st, but was under the care of an RE and I had to go for monitoring every day, which was annoying.

RE prescribed it. Took it days 5-9. Monitored constantly. No need to BD for about 2 weeks after Clomid.........you need to give the meds some time to mature your eggs and for you to ovulate. BD'ing right away is useless if you're trying to get pregnant.........plus you should be in the middle of AF. Eeeeewwww.

My gyn put me on it for days 3-7 and was never monitored. I was supposed to go back on the 2nd month, but they had rescheduled me for a mnth later, never let me know. So I opted to go see an RE, who immediately gave me an u/s and bloodwork. The past 2 months I have had routine bloodwork and u/s to monitor. Unfortunately it has not worked, yet. I am on my 5th Clmod cycle and had an IUI last week, hopefully this will be it.

my obgyn put me on..pills 5-9 bd every other day 10-20

My ob-gyn sent me right to an RE for the clomid (I have PCOS). I took it on days 3-7 and went in for monitoring on CD 10 (no follies), CD 14 (no follies) and CD 18 (one big one). Had my IUI today.

my ob/gyn prescribed it, but didnt offer any monitoring. so i switched to an RE that cycle. the monitoring may be annoying but its so much better to know whats going on then to be guessing if its working or not.

I just finished my first round. My gyn prescribed it to me. I went yesterday CD 11, I had 2 12imm follies on each side,...waiting to ovulate. I am using BBT and OPKs.
