now more confused than ever!
ok so its currently cd51. this was my first month using OPKs and i got my smiley on cd30. I have never had a cycle this long so i have been confused since i have gotten all bfns and af is a no show. i have basically just been waiting to get AF so i can start a new cycle.
ok so today i noticed GLOBS of what looks like EWCM. like massive globs....looks like someone blew there nose and theres a ton of snots (haha sorry for tmi). I have never seen this before. Is this EWCM? and does that mean I am just ovulating now? ugh im confused!

I have read that EWCM does not always mean that ovulation is happening. I hope it is though for you! Do you have any OPKs?

umm... well... you can get that when O...
but also when you are pregnant. This was an indicator both times when I got a BFP.
Actually a few days before my BFP... i felt strong AF cramps all over my uterus, lower back and vag... i went to the bathroom to get it over with.. thinking that AF would for sure show. Instead I had CM... like a blob of it. No red.. nothing at all. I went and told DH, "I'm either getting pregnant now or I'm getting my period". I got my period.
The other thing, you cycle seems unusually long... I'm thinking perhaps you should see a doctor.

thanks! i actually did make a dr appointment but can't get in until nov. 9th. ugh.
i tested yesterday and got a bfn so i def dont think im preggs at this point. i just don't know whats going on. since going off the pill my cycles have been long but the longest was 44 days....and that was my first cycle. since then they have been under 40 days. Some other girls mentioned maybe i have a cyst which is why i made the dr appt. I am just confused by the globs of ewcm today!

It's possible that your body tried to O when you first got the positive OPK but never actually did. Your body could be trying again. The problem with OPK's is they only tell you you that you SHOULD be Oing in the next 12-36hours. Not that you WILL or that you are. The only way to confirm O is to temp.

i dont want to worry you, but it REALLY sounds like you have classic PCOS.
i say this because you have long cycles and +OPKs that may not result in ovulation. plus EWCM multiple times during the cycle. did you use an OPK again now that you have the EWCM? i would bet you get a +.
i think you should temp to determine whether or not you are Oing. if you find you arent, or you are consistently Oing extremely late in the cycle (post CD30) you should consider seeing an RE for PCOS bloodwork..

i would def use one and BD. i have PCOS and i found that when i got real EWCM it was the real thing as far as O goes. otherwise i would get +OPKs without EWCM and they never resulted in a temp rise/O. you should  for good measure.

I get EWCM right before AF every month, not as much as around O, but a good amount, not sure why though.
