Do you know
what hospital you plan to deliver in? ( ) ETA how far is it from your house?
I have to pick a new gyn but I wanted to pick someone affiliated with the hospital i want to deliver in.
My other problem is that i dont know which hospital i want to go to- the one by my house sux and I have to battle traffic to go to any good one. Does anyone else think about this stuff?

My Dr. delivers at Good Sam but I've heard other hospitals have much nicer maternity wards so I am kind of upset about that. But I do feel comfortable with my Dr. so I don't think I should change.

ok here is my issue.....my current Dr. only delivers at Good Sam & Winthrop. I refuse to deliver at Good Sam, not b/c of the hospital but b/c someone I know works there and I would be a mess knowing that they were there.
I'm all about Winthrop.....but I think I might change Drs. I found mine dismissive when I asked a ques about Halo, not the video game but the test, he said it wasnt for me. My thoughts, ummmm....my maternal aunt died from breast cancer...LI is the leading BC cluster in the nation....ummmmm, yeah we should at LEAST discuss it!!!!  So long story short, if he treats me differently after BFP then I'll stay & go to Winthrop if not than I have to find a new Dr and I have NO clue where I will end up.

that succks!!! Dr. Levine is an ob affiliated with winthrop. he delivered me (lol) and he delivered my 6 month old niece. My mom & SIL both loved him. HTH

My top criteria when choosing my OB/Gyn was evening and weekend hours ( I work in Manhattan) and delivering at Huntington Hospital.
