i knew this was gonna happen...
DH and I had a talk last night because he thinks this whole TTC thing is becoming too orchestrated with the days we have to BD and he said he wants to make love and not just BD to have a baby.
i had a feeling this was coming cause i felt myself becoming more obsessive lol. i also just started using an OPK for this cycle and DH has constantly asked if i got a smilely. i asked him if we need to spice things up and he said no that he's happy, i guess its just too much pressure to do it on certain days.
he keeps saying everything will happen when it's supposed to happen. i'm still gonna use my OPK but maybe i'll keep the results to myself. so far we BD on CD 7 & 8 and today is CD 11 and i havent gotten my smilely yet. i guess we'll just see what happens. im feeling kind of down already this morning though. thanks for listening!

 I would just  the days you are most likely fertile and not tell him why.

My DH had the same talk with me a few weeks ago. He hates that I plan ahead the days & feels like its too much pressure.
We started spicing things up a bit so that it feels less like a chore.

DH constantly tells me it over and over that he hates how planned it is, and wants to keep the fun in things..it's an ongoing annoying convo he has with me  But then he sees how upset I am and gets scared I may go nuts if he doesn't obide by my rules and just does it... Just kidding, it's tough and I get what they're saying, but honestlly at least my DH thinks you can have sex whenever and you can get pg he has no clue about our bodies!!

what did you do to spice things up (if you don't mind me asking!)? it's actually getting a little too planned out for me too, but im not sure of how to keep it fun when i have so many thoughts going on in the back of my mind.

well..we starting in different rooms of the house..we have been trying diff positions  and I wear diff types of lingerie for him.
so even though we still BD with the goal of making a baby, it takes the pressure off of him b/c it doesn't feel so forced.

This is exactly what happened to me. DH said those exact words and I did the exact thing. Continued with the OPK but didnt discuss it with him. He still knew I was using them though. It wasn't until some time had passed and we werent having any luck did he finally say "Ok - let's start 'trying'". It can get very stressful especially if you are like me and obsess over it every second of the day. Just try to be aware of what you are saying and doing and try to keep things as calm and relaxed as possible. It is SO important to your relationship.

DH said the same thing. He is so laid back and nothing bothers him. I try to spice it up a little and I had a talk with DH and he understands now that certain days we really need to BD.

thanks so much. i am going to start keeping things to myself that he doesn't necessarily need to know about. it was just frustrating to me last night cause he'll joke around and say "do you need my seed tonight?", but then he feels pressured. so i felt bad that he was feeling that way. we just have to make it fun again.
