*** Thursday 10/14 QOTD ***
obviously we all want to conceive as soon as possible as long as we have healthy babies, but if you could pick your ideal month to have the baby what would it be and why?
i think conceiving now would be perfect for me. I would be due the first week of July which would be great because I'd have most of the summer off for maternity leave. I also think now is a good time bc by the time I am closer to 12 weeks and ready to share with all the family it would be around Christmas time. I think it would be a fun Christmas surprise to tell everyone about a baby!

i am still yet to get AF so if i by some mirical get my bfp this month i would be due end of june! which for me would be perfect! i am born in the winter and always was jealous of my friends who would have pool parties for their birthdays!
me and DH love to bbq! and our house is not that big so outdoor bbq birthday parties would be soo much easier than indoor party or renting out a place for our LO's bdays..
and not to mention that my maternity leave would be the whole summer and i love summer so that would be perfect for me!
altho honestly i just want a baby so bad!! so i dont care really when its born! as long as its healthy!!!

i think i'd like to have a baby in the spring - its my fav season! we got married in the spring too. i just wouldnt want to be pregnant over the summer because i hate the heat and i know it wouldn't be fun for me (or DH)! lol

ITA! Though I do have a preference for a DD not in the dead of winter. It is nice to be able to take a NB for walks outside and not have to bundle them up like crazy! It's also easier to get out and do things with them when it's not cold and flu season.

NOW!!!!!!!! It would be best for work, and I want to have backyard parties. Also, my parents live 5 hours away and are coming to visit 11/11, which would be the best time to tell them, and then I'll be home at Christmas and can tell all my relatives and friends at home.

Now would be great, but whenever it happens will be perfect as long as it happen and the baby is healthy

I always said spring or fall would be perfect in terms of being able to take the baby out for long walks... at this point, I'll take any month!! lol

well we figured having an October baby would be the best down here in FL. it starts cooling down enough (although yesterday i was in the pool  ) to go for walks with the baby in the stroller. i want to be able to take the baby out once i feel good and start walking. by the time summer comes around the baby would be old enough to take in the pool and to the beach (8 months). also i'd have 8 months to get back in shape before putting a bathing suit back on! plus we wouldn't lose a beach and summer season b/c i wouldn't be too pregnant to be at the pool/beach during the summer.
if i get a bfp anytime soon it will be a summer baby  and down here the summers are so hot...not what i was going for i could lose out on a whole pool/beach season but since you can't time it perfectly we figured we'd just go for it.

Like all the ladies have said, I will be more than happy to take ANY birth month. If it is completely up to me, I would prefer October. There really is no particular reason, I love the Fall and Halloween is my 2nd favorite Holiday. I think it would be nice to be on maternity leave during the cold winter months so I can stay nice cuddly w/my new baby, DH & our fur baby!!!

DD is an August baby. I love having her parties outdoors.
This time, if I were to pick, I'd want a September or October baby. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the fall...so many fun things to do, and sometimes even still nice enough to have outdoor parties...or at least outdoor activities.
But I will take #2 as soon as he/she would like to come!!
