I'M BEYOND CONFUSED
So I got a smiley on CD14, we BD'd ALOT!!!! I'm CD21 today and I've had major EWCM today so for the hell of it I just did another OPK and got a smiley today as well!?!?!?!?!?!WTH is going on, I'm ready to cry...DH is going to be home late today so we can't BD and I know some ppl say that you can take an OPK as an HPT but I've taken an HPT yes at CD21 which from CD14 would ONLY be 7DPO and it was a BFN!!!
I have noooo freaking clue what to do..I've been temping but they're erratic bc I haven't been doing it the second I wake up..
HELP!!!!

do you have PCOS? I have read that girls with PCOS can get false OPK positive results.

nope, thanks though...it is my first real cycle after my m/c though..

i bet that has something to do with it...your body has gone through a lot...i wouldnt be so concerned about it...though if you get to BD tomorrow...I would just in case...

nope, thanks though...it is my first real cycle after my m/c though..
hmm yeah it might have something to do with the m/c. i am not sure why else that would happen. hopefully it was just a fluke and you bd at the right time!

thanks...the thing is last month, the month of my mc I did ovulate on CD21-22 so now I'm freaking thinking maybe I didn't actually ovulate those days and am ovulating now...UGHHHHHH I hate this!!!

that could be possible...are you charting too or just using opks? if you're charting you should be able to tell if you did ovulate on CD 14 or around there

I am but my temps are erratic bc I've been not doing it the second I wake up which is throwing them all off

sorry i forgot you posted that b/c i didnt reread the OP before I replied...
honestly, before we took a break from ttcing - i stopped using opk's because they were making me too stressed out...i even bought a cbefm....which i used for 2 months...but i havent started using it again this time...because i think it stresses me out...
try not to stress and try to bd tomorrow just in case....that is what i would do

It is also possible that you just didn't realize the egg at CD14 for whatever reason and your LH is surging to try again.
If you can, keep BDing.

If at all possible I would try to BD again! I did follow my OPK but I also followed my EWCM if it was there I BD regardless!

This is what I'm thinking, I told DH, he knows not to mess with me now bc I'm freaking out so he said we're OK to go even if he comes home late

its true the with PCOS you can get multiple +OPKs but if you had normal cycles prior to m/c, i would guess that your body tried to O the first time, didnt succeed, and is now trying again, hence the second LH surge. you should temp to confirm ovulation. OPKs alone don't confirm O, they just tell you that you have an LH surge. good luck!

That is very confusing. I had no idea that your body could have 2 surges in a month! It makes me think I shouldn't stop taking OPK's till I get AF!
I hope you are able to BD tonight just in case.

Very confusing. I get tons of CM, often EW, right before AF, but to get a  is confusing. Your cycle prior to mc, when did you get your , CD 14 or CD 21? Maybe you O around CD 21, and the other one was a mistake. I was looking last night on peeonastick.com about the info about using OPKs as HPTs, and besides the other reasons, it said OPKs are

Just to throw this out there....I see an RE and I went on monday and my blood work came back that I was having my LH surge...meaning that I was due to ovulate any minute...So i took and OPK that night just to see...and guess what...I did not get a positive! So they are not always right.....I say if you are ovulating now, just make sure you BD tomorrow morning when you first wake up....even if it's just a quickie! Or do like I did last night and have DH wake you up when he gets home!
ETA: You may also be confusing EWCM with regular discharge that you have....I can never tell when I have EWCM

I would always get my smiley on CD14 before the MC...this sucks..I was so hopeful bc we Bd'd sooooo much and such good timing last week..UGH!!

so an update on our sex life, we just BD'd...I'm praying I didn't miss O completely this month..we're hoping to BD tomorrow and possibly Friday as well..this is really really exhausting

Good luck. It sounds to me like you are covering all your bases.
I know its frustrating. I still dont understand OPK's. Last month I got a on CD 19, CD 20, a negative on CD 21 & 22 and a again on CD23. I have no answers for it. It confuses the he!! out of me.
