are you telling anyone?
just wondering if anyone is telling their family that they are ttc or that they their BFP. if so or if you did already how long did you wait?
I have my BFP and it's still early, not so sure how long to wait to tell my family.

We told some family and close friends at the beginning of the year that we were going to start trying a few months ago. As for the BFP we are going to wait to tell family and close friends until after first doctors appointment and then everyone else after 12 weeks.

When we get it we arent telling family or friends expect I'm going to tell my BF. If DH wants to tell his BF thats up to him. We arent saying any thing b/c MIL has a big mouth and will tell the world. sorry...kinda p~i~s~s~e~d @ the witch today!

I understand... i had a mc too thats why i'm thinking to wait but i may tell close family so they can keep me in their prayers. still deciding! but thanks for the advice

I've told friends we are ttcing soon, or we hope to start a family soon to less close friends. I've said nothing too my family. My parents and sister live in MD. My mom just called me and told me they want to come up 11/11. This cycle would bring me a BFP on 10/16 so by 11/11 I'd be 8 weeks, perfect time to tell them!!!

Our parents and my cousin (my best friend) know we're trying...and I'll probably spill as soon as i get a BFP!
I won't tell work, or extended, acquaintance friends until 12 weeks or so

I told my mom, my sister (only cause i asked her if she did anything while TTC) and one of my friends because she wanted to coordinate ttc...
I will wait till at least after my first sono to tell my other sisters and brother... i think at 10/12 weeks i will tell everyone else...

My BF knows that we will be actively trying next month and I regret mentioning it to her bc now she keeps asking. I mentioned it to my Mom but, I've also voiced my worries and doubts so I'm not sure if she has a clue :)
When we start actively trying I'm not going to tell her bc I want my parents to be suprised (first grandchild). I'm hoping I can tell them in person too which will be hard bc we live 3000 miles away so, I really hope it happens the 1st month so I can tell them at Christmas when Im home in NY.

Wellllllllllllll I am pretty bad at keeping secrets so I may spill to like a 1-2 close close friends you know?
My parents I would hold out at least 8 weeks and same for IL's of maybe 12 months but it would be hard. I'd love to be pregnant this cycle bc then I could tell my family at Thxgivign when we are all together (even my sister who is OOT) and then maybe DH's family at Xmas when we see them!

with the first we told our family right away bc we were so excited. with our second we told everyone around 10 weeks but lost him at 24 weeks. so this time around I will not be telling anyone till around 14 weeks.

for the first year we didnt tell too many people we were TTC. i didnt want people constantly asking me about it.
once i had my second chemical we knew the road wasn't going to get any easier and we pretty much told everyone. its been over a year and a half now.
almost everyone i talk to regularly knows we are doing IVF this cycle. im glad, i've had a ton of support.
if i get a BFP this cycle it will be hard not to tell since so many people know we are doing it (although I lied to a lot of people about when we find out - that way i have time to process it myself before people start asking).

so nobody really knows we are ttc, well besides you guys...
my friend knew cuz i told her when i got my bfp but i decided to tell her that we were waiting a little while to try again, cuz i dont wanna have to answer the "did you get it yet" etc...
and i dont plan on telling anyone when i get my bfp for a while so its eaiser if nobody knows we are ttc

I am an open book so after two years of marriage and all the questions as to when we will start a family, I finally told everyone we would start trying in August 10'.
I have learned that was a biiiiig mistake. Everyone and their mom constantly asks me if Im pg yet. Its annoying,upsetting and discouraging at times. I just told the Hub the other day that I really wished I would have kept my mouth shut.
Next time around, Im not saying a word

I told a ton of people we're trying to TTC. Not like strangers on the street but co-workers and friends. I'm bad with secrets so I decided it wasn't one.
