Need encouragement for my lonely embryo

Update 10/13

I went in this morning for my beta test!! This was the longest 2 wks i've ever been through! Now, the next few hrs are even going to feel longer waiting for that phone call. I just want to thank you all for helping me making it this far. I couldn't have done it without your support. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......please keep me in your prayers and thoughts!!




Hi Ladies,

I haven't posted in a while because I've been trying to divert myself from thinking about baby, IVF, my embryo, etc.
I had my retrieval last wednesday, 9/29 and my RE got 3 eggs. on Friday, 10/1, we did a 2 day transfer on a lonely embryo. All three were fertilized initially but 2 arrested at a 1 cell and 2 cell with 70% fragmentation. My only hope was this little 4 celled embryo with 20% fragmentation and we went ahead with my day 2 transfer.
I'm trying so hard not to read all these other fertility forums to try to calculated my chances with my mediocre embryo. I really feel like it can work since all I need is one.
This is my first time that I ever made it to transfer. First round of IVF, 5 retrieved, 5 fertilized and all were arrested before my Day 3 transfer. Second round of IVF was converted to an IUI because my RE doesn't want to retrieve anythng less than 4 and I had 3. This is my 3rd IVF cycle and I finally made it to transfer.
This waiting gaime (2ww) is so tough. It's only been 5 days but I just feel like it's already been a decade of waiting. I'm going in for my Beta next wednesday.
Please say a prayer and good thoughts for my little fragmented embryo.
Thank you ladies for all your support. I don't know what I would have done without all of you helping me through this stressful process.

Hey! I'm crossing my fingers, toes, arms and legs for you! You have gotten farther than I did with my first IVF, nothing fertilized for me. I would be so happy with one embie! You only need one! And remember, embies do so much better in your body than in a petri dish. I'm praying
that this is it for you!!!!

Thanks everyone for your prayers and encouraging words. I'm keeping my faith in that embie and I look at its picture everyday before i leave for work.

Today is 6dp2dt (6 days post 2 day transfer).
tick tock tick tock until my beta that's due net wednesday.
