An introduction...and what an introduction it is!
Hi ladies! I have been lurking for a LONG time and have finally decided to join you!
My DH and I are TTC #2, and have been since May. Before DS was born, my cycles were incredibly irregulary, but since I stopped nursing him, my cycles have been consistently 34-35 days (about 8 months now).
Now for the TMI part. I don't temp, but I can usually tell when I ovulate from my EWCM. I confirmed it twice with OPKs, and I usually O between CD 20-22. This month, right around the time I should O, I noticed I was dry and uncomfortable. After a few days, it went away. But it resurfaced last week and I finally realized I have a yeast infection--my first.  I was supposed to get AF last Thursday, and still nothing. I have taken a HPT every day, and all BFN. I went to my OB/GYN yesterday, and he gave me diflucan and told me to use monistat. He didn't even test me and said I was probably having a long cycle. What the heck is going on? Could a YI affect your cycle? I'm so sad that I haven't even gotten AF to look forward to next cycle.

I don't think that a YI can affect your cycle, but I am not sure...I had several, and never noticed it effecting the timing of my cycle.

Welcome!! I don't think YI affect your cycle. Unfortunately Ive had a few over the summer... my cycle was always the same... maybe a 1 or 2 day difference
