Is anyone elses' DH ultra laid back about the entire TTC process to the point of irritating

So a spinoff to my last post, when I told DH last night about our friends that are pregnant he was like wow that's great, were they trying for long, and I said 7 mos, and he was like WOW that's long I kindly reminded him that it took us 6 mos with DD1 and he told me, no it didn't it took us 3....Ummmm was he living in an alternate reality than myself I'm shocked that he thought it only took us 3 months, he's like yah it was pretty easy and that's why I'm not worried this time around...I could have screamed, but DD was sleeping

guys have not concept of time! lol 6 months 3 months all the same to them i guess! haha

my DH was completly clueless before ttc he thought he we were going to one time without pulling out (sorry tmi) and i was going to get prego!

now hes like a ttc nut! and told him i was going to give up temping cuz i have not clue what to look out for etc... and he was on the computer all night googling how to temp!! lol

YES!!! We need to today, our schedules allow literally minutes together tonight, he's like we'll just tomorrow. Ugh!!!! He sooooo doesn't get it.

My DH was more laid back the first time around.. but ever since we lost our son and the reality of trying again is coming closer, hes been more anxious for me to get pregnant ASAP!!

Shaun always talks about being a dad and how awesome hes going to be... but he also admitted that TTC makes him nervous...

hes always irritating so its hard to tell if its any different now

He's pretty laid back about it but DH is even more type A than I am (if that's possible) so Im pretty sure he's keeping it together so that I dont totally lose it.
If I filled him in on all the research Ive been doing.. he'd probably be all over it and then we'd drive each other crazy!!

completely laid back, but so am i.
i just feel like once i get anal about it, it wont happen...

Even though we are following my schedule and the opk, we're both very ademant about being laid back about it. We don't want to add stress to our bodies. We both want it so badly that we're terrified to obsess over it. In case we can't have children, we dont want the disappointment to be so great

You are not alone. We have not started yet but my DH thinks once we with the INTENTION of making baby in 9 mths a baby will appear

I try to explain it might take time but he just looks at me...lol

My DH is slowly coming around but it took a while. This is our 6th month TTC but he tells me that it is our 3rd!!!! Umm, did he forget the first 3 times or the many months before my M/C? And what about the 4 months that passed due to the M/C? MEN!!

But he was really really sad when I got my BFN a few days ago so I think he is realizing that this is not going to be quick and easy.

DH is pretty laid back about it. I think it's good though, I need someone to keep me in touch with reality
