Thursday QOTD
Today is back to school night at my school (I teach 3rd grade.) This made me think, what are you most excited about when your LO is school age?
I'm so excited for team sports, dance recitals and school plays!!!!!!!

I am most excited for dance recitals and gymnastics!! I was a gymnast so I always hoped that if I had a daughter she would love it as much as I would. I am also excited for class trips, my mother wasn't able to go on many class trips with me so when I have kids I want to try to make it o a few.

Yes, sports. But I don't want them to be too over-scheduled! I can't wait to have them sitting at the kitchen table doing their homework while I prepare us all some snacks! I like some home family time  OH I can't wait!

ITA! My 1st thought was of everyone around the table having snacks, going over their day and starting homework!

ITA w/what everyone else is saying, sports, dance, gymnastics, music lessons. I want to expose my DC to everything possible (and then allow them to chose what they want to focus on) but what I am also really excited for is the actual learning process. My parents werent very involved in my school work. I honestly believe that I struggled throughout my whole educational career b/c of it. I would never want that for my DC so I am very excited to be support system and cheerleader for my kids when it comes to home work and extra learning. I really want them to be excited about learning. I didnt understand that learning could be fun until I started my Masters program.

After helping my mom clean out her basement, I'd have to say all the work they'll bring home. I can't wait for those silly art projects and adorable stories and misspellings! I got a kick out of reading some of my old journal entries from first grade!
