Where do you want to delivery?
I hear that clinic type places are cheaper than hospitals. Where do you plan to delivery and why.

I plan on delivering at Southampton. It's right down the road from me, with a brand new maternity ward and all private beautiful suites. I work east of where I live and this hospital is in between, there are no hospitals further east, so if we went, it would be too far from work.

Huntington Hospital is where I delivered DS. I'm pretty sure I will deliver there again

great question... I was born in st charles and my sisters delivered there too so I kind of want to go there because I know its good but my doctor is soooo wonderful and only delivers at stonybrook! But I hear they are really good too so we'll see.

Ditto that! LOVE St. Charles. I had a great experience delivering my DD there. The staff was great, the rooms were nice, the place was so quiet and clean and cheery, the food was awesome.........I can go on and on. I will be back there for sure when I have baby #2 one day.

I will deliver at whatever hospital my OB is affiliated with. If I stick with my current OB, that will be Good Sam.

I always wanted to go to North Shore/Manhasset but now that I moved 25 min from there it was hard to find a doctor affiliated with that hospital. Having a doctor close to my house was very important to me because I have a very late work schedule.
I think my doc delivers from North Shore Syosset or Plainview.

my OB is affiliated with Good Sam and Southside, and I think I will see if I can deliver at Southside. My father passed away at Good Sam, and I just don't want to have that related to something so great.

I was very happy delivering at St Catherines in 2007. I will most likely deliver there again unless I decided to have my tubes tied and then it will be Stony Brook.

And me! DH works at Winthrop and all his doctor / nurse friends who have had babies all choose to deliver there. That's a good enough endorsement for me!
