spinoff to WORKING OUT AT NIGHT?

Does it make it difficult to get to sleep when you work out at night. I want to start running again but it's either 5:0am or 8:00pm but im afraid I'll have trouble falling asleep after a cardio at 8pm?

Re: spinoff to WORKING OUT AT NIGHT?

I don't work out at night mainly because I have much more time in the mornings. however, in the times I have worked out at night, I've found it easy to fall asleep after. I would give it a try and see how you feel!

Re: spinoff to WORKING OUT AT NIGHT?

I can easily fall asleep about 1.5 hours later (my usual bedtime of 10:30) if not sooner, I am just wiped out by then from my day! Coffee in the afternoon, on the other hand, will keep me from falling asleep or keep me awake in the middle of the night!

I run often around 8 or 9pm- I have no trouble sleeping by 11:00 or 11:30pm....

Re: spinoff to WORKING OUT AT NIGHT?

It definitely revs me up a bit but I'm so tired from the day that I force myself to go to bed anyway. I usually don't have trouble falling asleep IF I force myself to go bed.

I work out at night and have no problems going to sleep. I do like working out in the mornings better, but that never happens.
