use your OPK as a pregnancy test? would there be two lines..... yes i know im pathetic.... thanks

Yes, there will always be two lines if you are pregnant.
Unfortunately, 2 lines after ovulation doesn't always mean that you are pregnant though.

I looked this up awhile ago, it will take longer for an OPK to show + PG than a home PG test.

I don't believe an OPK would show two lines for pregnancy as they test for two different hormones. OPK's test for lutenizing hormone and HPT's test for hcg.

LH and HCG are very similar chemically. HCG has an extra beta unit hence the "beta" blood test.
That is why they can use HCG as a trigger for ovulation.
An OPK will be positive in the presence of HCG. A pregnancy test will NOT be positive in the presence of LH though.

Makes sense but then using an OPK as an HPT isn't really effective. I know for me throughout most of my cycle 2 lines are visible on OPK's the second line just isn't as dark or darker than the first as it would be in a positive OPK, KWIM?
I guess what I'm saying is just because you're a certain number of DPO, getting two lines on an OPK doesn't mean you're pregnant.
