Spin-off to are you scared....
So as opposed to asking if you are scared to be pregnant and to give birth..i am leaving this as an open ended question....what are you most scared of? I'll start....
I haven't TTC yet. This is my last month on BCP and we will be starting around December. As it gets closer I am second guessing myself. My biggest fear now is I am jumping into having a child too early (even though I am 25 now). We have a house, 2 new cars, and have traveled and both are out of the bar/party stages...but I am just scared cause you can't go back....maybe I will miss my sleep and my free time and to just lay around the house...I mean can you even relax with a child?
I am also terrified of money!

My biggest fear is that we will have problems TTC. You never know if you will until you try so I am so worried that we wont be able to, god forbid.

i am the same age as you - 25 and those are things i am MOST afraid of too.
being pregnant i look foward too, even birth, i am not really worried about it - i am sure when i actually have to worry about it the fear factor will be greater but i look at it as a rite of passage...
i am more worried about being ready. word for word what you said. we aren't party animals and it's not like we would be giving up a crazy lifestyle but you are right, you can't go back and a child is forever. we worry about money even though we are financially secure, have a house, 2 cars, i already stay at home - so i'm not sure why we are worried but we can't help it...
i also think about raising a 10 year old, 13 year old, 17 year old, 21 year old...omg that SCARES me...that they aren't a baby forever. and yes, i want a child, i want a baby, a toddler, but do i want a 13 year old? do i want to worry about them having sex? doing drugs? drinking and driving? what college they will go to? will they even go to college? then i start picturing myself and DH older - like in our 40's...
when i think that far ahead it freaks me out...

I was very nervous about a lot of things... I was nervous about losing sleep.. not having time to relax or do things I enjoy without having to put the baby's needs first....... missing just being alone with DH and being able to do what we want whenever we want... Afraid of my body changing and never fitting into my old clothing ever again... The list can go on and on ........
I was pregnant for 17.5 weeks and since losing my son, I have to say everything I once was afraid of just doesn't matter to me anymore. I know it will all be worth it in the end.

I am scared of working and being judged as a workaholic who doesnt have time for her kids. Someone said to me one "why have kids if you have to put them in daycare". I was so ******. Umm so if you live in LI and your DH doesnt make at least 250,000k you dont deserve kids! So annoying!!
