omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
Would you have ttc earlier or later if you could than you are not? What is the reason why?
I would have definitely sooner although there was a point about a year ago where I didn’t even want a kid. I thought I would be married for years by now and defiantly would have thought I would have at least one kid by now. I am only 25 but always pictured myself getting married at like 20 and having a kid right away lol
DH on the other hand would be happy if we waited 2-5 years

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
November will be our 2 yr anniversary, we are TTC beginning in January.
We have been getting ourselves ready, talking about TTC, plans for me to stay home etc. for about a year now.
I was sort of ready sooner, but until my DH was 100% ready I was not willing to try. I wanted to be sure that we were on the same page.

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
you come up with such good questions!
i originally wanted to try sooner but i am glad we waited a bit. we have almost accomplished everything we said we wanted to do before trying. my DH was waiting on a promotion which he got, we got a second car and we are almost done with the major things we wanted to finish in the house...now it feels like things are really starting to fall into place. after this month i will be off bcp and we'll take it from there. i think we will still be careful for awhile after that since they say it's best to wait a few months. then we will take the whatever happens approach for a bit - i am hoping i have regular cycles.

Well, I havent officially started TTC yet (will start in Dec.-hopfully) but I would of loved to have started once I get married (3yrs ago) but knew it wasnt the right time. Heck, I still dont know if its the right time . However, if I knew that 2-3 years from now I was guaranteed to have a baby with no health issues I would probably wait. I only say this because I could probably use a couple more years to get my life together

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
Good Question...hmmm, Considering DH and I this time last year were leaning towards NOT having any children, we are happy with the time we have decided (which is now). I'm 29 and want to be at least prego's before 30 (ugh).

i would wait if age were not a factor. I want a baby ideally before 35 and i'm 33 now.

i always tell DH our biggest mistake was not having a kid when we were 18 (we have been together since we were 16 and 17) but he tells me that he doesnt think it would work out if that were the case.
we are young, but i always wanted to be a young mommy!

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
I wouldn't mind being younger as long as I wouldn't have to give up a second that I've been through! I'm almost 30 and I worry that we might have to rush to squeeze in a second or third kid. It would be nice to have all the time in the world.
Overall, I wouldn't want to change anything. I'm glad we waited a little bit before trying. Although I feel like I've been ready since I was 14, I didn't want to rush DH into things. I'm glad we have some time to be just us first.

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
Nope!! I would change absolutely nothing!!! We are very happy!!
Let me also give a good piece of advice: no time will ever be the right time. I've learned that NOTHING in life will ever be perfect. A good part of that has to due with the fact that anything can happen and life has it's up's and down's. You can't plan for anything in life and many times life throws you curve balls. So if you wait for that perfect time, it may never happen. I think things always work out for a reason and sometimes you have to make things work. I have no regrets about anything!!!! When I got pregnant I realized what a blessing it was regardless of what position I was in life. When I got that BFP and that wonderful feeling, I knew I was ready!
Can I also add that I was scared sh*tless right before we decided to ttc. I just realize now that whether I started two years from now, 2 years ago or now I would have had fear. But the end result would be the same- I would have been happy.

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
we are both 25 we already have a 15 month old daughter and have been married a bit over 2 years, we were together 5 1/2 before getting married... i think as far as timing everything worked out perfect. i wish i had more friends going through the same things as i was when it was happening because its hard for them to understand someitmes. and i wish we would have traveled a bit more before we had abby but all in all i doubt i would have changed anything we were really ready and abbys the best thing thats ever happened to us as a couple!

I agree...even though I'm frustrated now, I really feel we're in the right place. We were able to have our dream wedding, honeymoon, and DH and I are done with schooling and where we need to be in our careers. I'm sure we'll have some more obstacles with the little ones, but at least we have a great foundation!

I would have done it on the HM but, at that time we werent sure if we wanted a baby. He wants one but I go back and forth cause of my 1st situation, money, my age, problems with my back, do I want to do it all over again. My son will be in college soon and I'll be nursing I also work in a preschool but dont want my baby to go there til they are toddlers... trust me I think of a lot!!!

dd was a bit of a surprise. now that i have her i wish we would have had her a little sooner but i know everything happens for a reason. she did end up coming at a good point in our lives b.c shortly after she was born my fil passed away from a 3 year long battle with cancer.
she was a blessing!

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
Good question! I would have started ttcing sooner. I am 33, dh is 34 and we are just now trying for our first. So there's some pressure here (tick tock tick tock) I guess we just weren't ready.

Re: omg girls i forgot ***QOTD wednesday*****
Even though this was yesterdays question I am going to answer. DH and I were going to start trying last year which is why I came off bcp pills then but so many things were coming up within the next year we decided to wait and I went back on. Part of us feel we should have started to try in case we have a problem conceiving but we know it will happen when it is suppose to.
