Forgot to tell you girls about this one...
Another embarrassing TTC moment.
Saturday I went to use a gift card for a massage. So I'm filling out the forms and it asked if I was pregnant. I wrote no, but that I was TTC.
So the receptionist comes out to go over a few things with me. Mind you, this is in a room full of people waiting. So she says "Oh, you're trying to conceive?" I nodd, already feeling people looking at me. So then she says "It's tough. It seems like for the people who really want a baby, it takes longer, and for some it happens right away."
Right now my mouth is open. I can feel my face getting red because now everyone is looking at me.
As I'm a very private person, I was mortified. I never told her how long I was TTC. It could've been my first month!
I just couldn't believe she was talking about such a personal matter--my personal matter--in the waiting room full of people!
Really, what is wrong with people?!?!

oh she suck. at the same time i think she was just trying to be sympathetic, but then again she doesn't know how long you've been trying.

I think she thought that's why I was there, but I never gave that impression. I just don't think they should go over health concerns out in the open. Take it into a treatment room!

That was rude. In a massage place, no less. Not even in a Dr. office  Maybe she had been TTC and had a hard time and just assumed. Either way- still rude.
