My fave!
I just call them "Breads"
Slice of toasted Italian bread drizzled with EVOO and sprinkled with Italian seasoning.
Place 1 piece of fresh Mozz, 1 piece of prosciutto, and 1 sun-dried tomato on the bread. Garnish with a basil leaf.
Delishhhhhhhhhh!

Baby French Cut Lamb Chops. Expensive - but exquisite and sooo delicious. As an appetizer you'd only need one or 2 per person at most.
Marinate them in lemon, olive oil, a TON of garlic, some greek seasoning and a little s&p.
Then grill them to a nice medium rare. Plate them with a little fresh minced oregano and mint.
They are always the big hit at any party where I serve them.

Fontina stuffed bacon wrapped dates. Or crescent rolls stuffed with chives and cream cheese wrapped in bacon.
Oh how I love appetizer type food.

mini crab cakes (i use tyler florence's recipe)
or another HUGE hit is dates wrapped in bacon....
stuff an almond into a date, wrap 1/2 piece bacon around it, put on baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar and bake at 350 for 10 min or so til bacon is cooked. turn overn to broil for a few minutes to make crispy....delish!!!

My DH makes them too. He slices the pepper open (length wise) and scoops out some of the seeds. Then he stuffs Mexican or cheddar cheese in. He wraps a slice of bacon around the outside and uses a toothpick to keep it closed. He puts them on the grill for about a minute. SOOOOOOO delicious!

asparagus cigars:
asparagus spears with woody ends cut off wrapped in a piece of proscuitto with a little goat cheese inside and baked in the oven until the proscuitto gets crispy. so easy...so popular...so yummy!
