Electrical Inspection

Do you know if the house needs to have the electrical inspected at the end of the job or does only the building inspector need to come? We had the electrical approved before the walls went up. The electrical inspector told our contractor that he didnt need to come after the sheet rock was up. I wasnt sure if I need to have him come back now that the fixtures are installed or if only I need to contact the town to have the Building inspector come for the final CO

When we had our dormer done the electrical was inspected before the sheetrock went up and I think there was a sticker placed on the window indicating that it had been completed and was satisfactory. We left it in place until the final inspection just to be certain it was clear it was completed. At the end of the job only the building inspector came to sign off on the whole job and indicate that the electrical, plumbing, etc. had been done as required. We're in Suffolk - town of Islip.

Awesome. Thank you. I had a feeling that only the building inspector had to come back. We have the sticker on the front window. I will not be removing it until we get the final CO done
