HELP!!! Can anyone reccommed a Handyman (plumbing,electrical,tape&spackle)
I have the follwoing that needs to be done.....
tape & spackle small kitchen, small dining room, two sheets in and spre guestroom.
2 leaky sinks
1 drippy faucet
install new kitchen faucet
install 2 ceiling fans
one has light fixture already there
one has nothing there!!
hook up attic fan to a switch
change dryer own elctrical box to standard dryer plug!!
i cannot get anyone in the paper to call me back!!!

sorry...wish i knew someone other than my DH.  he's done all of the above, with the exception of tape & spackling, and the attic fan.
i'm surprised that noone has called you back!! that's darn money they're missing out on!!

CRAIGSLIST!
I found a very good carpenter thats installing all my brand new bedroom and closet doors. He is doing FABULOUS work and he is very reasonably priced (for NYC standards).
I just found a painter on there as well. He is painting my master bedroom tomorrow. Not sure if he will be any good... but we will see. He wasn't the cheapest... but was priced somewhat reasonable.
Make a post on newyork.craigslist.org under services/household.
Post what you need done exactly.

I have someone really good - actually he is my husband's cousin and has done a lot for us. I don't know what his schedule is though, he tends to get alot of work.
