girls who temp

this might sound stupid, but how do you remind your groggy, half-asleep self to take your temperature before you get out of bed. lately i've been remembering once i'm already up and around.

i use my blackberry as an alarm clock and its on my nightstand.

when i go to turn the alarm off, the thermometer is on the nigtstand right on top of my blackberry so its hard to miss.

plus im such a loser i actually like temping and get excited

Yea, I'm a loser who likes temping, too, hehe. I think you just have to get into the routine. Once you have done it for 7 consecutive days or so, you won't have to think about it.

OMG I have only begun 2 days ago and it's torture.

I hit snooze, grab the thermometer and fall back asleep with it in my mouth. Then the thermometer wakes me up again because it beeps when it's done.

Then I have to wake up to try to read the darn thing in the dark and write it down.

I keep everything my the bed, pen, pad, thermometer so I wont forget.

i set my cell alarm every day at 6:30. rolled over grabbed the thermometer, took it, then went back to bed. most thermometers save the last reading, so there was no need to jot it down right away.

then when i finally got up i would go on my iphone and entered the temp in fertility friend.com. i found all that to be the easiest and most hassle free.

Its a process, but I do enjoy the data I get from charting. Its worth it to me to be able to confirm exactly when I Oed, etc.

I keep my BBT and my iphone by my bed. When my alarm goes off, I use thermometer while loading the FF website on my iphone. I use the light from my phone to read the temp on the thermometer and enter it directly into FF.

On weekends I do the above, but then get up to use the bathroom & go right back to sleep for a bit.

i use my bb alarm clock when DH is not working, and use my DH alarm when he's already up for work. 6:00. the thermometer is right next to my face on my nightstand.

i will admit that a couple of times (including this morning) i fell asleep with it still in my mouth, but the beeping wakes me up

if it's the weekend, i just go back to sleep and enter it in FF when I wake up.
