DH & I already discussed that we arent going to tell anyone we are trying unless it becomes a long process (God, I hope not ) and we get sick of ppl asking.

We also decided that we dont want anyone knowing when we are preggers for a while. We want to keep it about us for a while and MIL is a wonderful person but she has a habit of making everything about her. So I am fully aware that my pregnancy will quickly turn from my & DH's 1st baby to HER 1st GRANDCHILD.

We haven't told anyone. The only person who knows is my best friend because I just can't keep any secrets from her. I don't want people to know. Of course they ask and we just say we are enjoying our time together and traveling right now. That stops them.

First time around we told immediately family we were starting to "think about TTC".

This time family thought we were, when we weren't so I clarrified that we weren't. But then never told them we were. Whew - that was like "Who's On First" LOL

And as of right now only DH, myself, and 2 close friends know I am pregnant.

Crashing! To be honest, we told people we were trying--we didn't make it into a whole conversation piece, but we didn't make a secret of it either. If it came up in conversation, DH and I were open about it.

And you know what-we got lots of AWESOME advice that we put to use and got pregnant the 2nd month TTC, so go figure!

Also-I will say that because we were so open about it, we didn't get badgered with questions at all.

Everyone is different, it's a very personal decision to tell, hope my story was helpful
