Over 35 and TTC
Anyone here over 35 and TTC? Any advice for me. I am 39 and TTC baby #2.

Hey Betty, well considering I had my first DD at 37 (2 days after I turned 37) & my DS at 38; & considering a 3rd this fall at 40...I'm there w/ you.
Just don't sweat it. I got pregnant 2nd month trying w/ both.

Hey there Cindy. Thanks for the encouragement. I keep hearing how it is soooo much harder to get pregnant as you get older, It's nice to hear something positive.

i'm over 35, but don't have any advice for you either as I have been trying for over a year and a half and haven't gotten pregnant yet.

I had my first a month after I turned 34, then my second at 35, and my third at 37. I also had 2 chemical pregnancies between 2 and 3.
I used OPKs for each pregnancy.

Well, we tried last year and I never got pregnant - I was 35. But I'm sure if I put more effort in, it could happen - but I like hearing Cindy's story - it gives me hope it CAN happen several times!!!

Well I'm 37 and got a BFP about 8 weeks ago. . I actually got pregnant very quickly (as did my sis and SIL who both got pregnant at 37 do)
I kind of followed what they did since they were successful too. .
Did two months of fertility acupuncture including drinking these pretty "interesting" herbs 2x a day from my acupuncturist. . also just cut out caffeine. .other than that I used OPK strips, and tried to  as early as possible near ovulation. . also I did use the OPK strips 2x a day bc I heard that that sometimes older you are the smaller your window is and if you get the surge at night and only test in the morning by the time you get a postive reading it's actually too late. . they say the older you are the more important it is to earlier bc the little swimmers can live in there for a few days but your cervix is sometimes only open for a FEW HOURS esp as you age. .
so that's some of what I know but DEF age does not need to be a factor to prevent this so for you!
