Over the range microwave

I have the GE Profile convection microwave. I think I spent close to $400 for it, however, I purchased all my appliances through PC Richard's Builders Division so I got a good discount on it. My BIL installed it.

We bought a stainless steel Kenmore microwave from Sears for about $400 (from what I remember) and DH installed it himself.

Are they easy to install? I would be replacing one that's already mounted.
It's a GE profile convection microwave. I would love to replace it with the same.

Since it is already mounted, it is probably fairly easy to do... for a guy that is handy. I would never be able to figure it out myself, but my DH is good with things like that! lol

Since it is already mounted, it is probably fairly easy to do... for a guy that is handy. I would never be able to figure it out myself, but my DH is good with things like that! lol

They are so easy to mount, especially if you are replacing it with the same. We did it a few months ago and Dh & I installed it in 10 minutes bc the wall brace was there already. Try appliancesbyphone.com They usually have great prices. We got ours through PC Richards bc my DH is a firefighter and they give great discounts to civil servants (and I'm not sure who else) but otherwise I would have gone with ABP. Sears has a discount center in W Babylon too where you can check out what they have on line before going too. They have a good selection sometimes

we got ours from pc richard and got them to price match a price we found on homeeverything.com - saved us a ton!
we were replacing one so decided to just install it ourselves- it took 5 hours because the holes and everything didnt line up exactly and everything had to be drilled again
