OPK or not?
How many of you started using an OPK the moment you decided you wanted to TTC? Or how many of you decided to get one only after months of TTC and getting no result? I was just wondering since DH and I are just going to start TTC if we should just see what happens without an OPK or start using one from the beginning. What have you girls done?

i am going to just wing it for the first few months - just doing a lot of during like the 8-18 cd
if i dont get pregnant within a few months i will probably do opk

us too. we're only on month #2 ttc so we're going to see what happens

Same here. I am going to try not to stress about it in the beginning.

i started using them my first month off....i dont know if thats a good thing or a bad thing. into cycle 2 now

we started using them immediately and got PG after 2mos. I foundopk's and just monitoring CM to be very helpful with timing BD . good luck.

July was my first month TTC and I did not use an OPK. If it doesn't happen this month, I still don't plan to use one. So far, just relying on tracking my cycle on a calendar, and tracking CM, O pains and O spotting.

I started using them my third month off BCP, when we were playing "lets see what happens". But I'm glad I started using them because I O late in my cycle and would have never known that if I just kept winging it.
