DH results are in!!! *UPDATE*

Everything is Normal. The are sending me a copy and I will post the exact numbers so you girls can help me better understand, what Normal is exactly.

To be honest, I am happy that it came back normal, but bummed because then it means that it is me. Just feeling lousy and had to share. Thanks for listening.

Update: Here are the numbers

Concentration: 27 mil
Motility: 58
Morphology: 6%
Volume: 4

Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Those numbers look good! Here is the standards for SA:

Volume less than or equal to 2.0 mL
Sperm count greater than or equal to 20 million permL
Motility (movement of the sperm) value is greater than or equal to 50% with forward progression, or greater than or equal to 25% with rapid progression within 60 minutes of ejaculation
Morphology greater than orequal to 30% with normal forms

i dont want to alarm you but the morphology # seems realllllly off if they said it was normal. are you sure it was 6%? i know there are two different scales that are used, but i thought one was normal at 14% (a test called Strict) and the other type normal at 30% (a test called WHO).

that being said, even if it is 6%, thats not completely abnormal either. i think i read somewhere that most men have under 14% perfect swimmers these days. my DH did his under the WHO test and he had 24% which was under the 30% normal range. he was given antioxidants to help. we have been able to get pregnant twice so far but both ended in chemicals. but obviously the morphology isnt a huge factor since the sperm are able to penetrate the egg. (in case you didnt know morphology means the shape of the sperm ).

That was my concern too. I did some research online and on here and saw the same numbers and freaked out a little. Then, I came across a post you made referencing this Infertility Blog It shows the morphology number changed, and now anything above 3% is normal. There are so many conflicting numbers out there, that I don't know what to believe. Thankfully, we have an appt on Tuesday and we can go from there.
