Should I call?
I had a GYN appointment a week ago today and she told me she's pretty sure that I'm not ovulating on my own and that I have PCOS. She took blood to test my hormone and thyroid levels. She told me that I would get a call the next week by another doc in the practice because she'd be out this whole week.
Well, it's Friday and I haven't received a call yet. I'm kind of anxious, but kind of want to wait. I don't want to talk about the results with some random doctor I've never met. I also got some really good (non ttc-related) news on Wednesday and kind of wanted to have fun with it this weekend. If I get bad news on the phone, I think I'll be so down instead.
Should I call? Or wait till Monday?

I would call-- the waiting would drive me crazy!!! plus if it is PCOS there are treatments-- you will get your BFP--- knowing is half the battle--- good luck!

I would call...even if you get not so great news...you will also get some sort of plan which will get you excited!

I should have added that I'm going in for a sonogram next Wednesday. Knowing me I'll just wait till then to ask... I'm such a wimp!

I say as long as it won't drive you nuts all weekend just wait until monday. In the grand scheme of things knowing today or knowing monday isn't going to make a difference. Enjoy the weekend!

I totally relate to that. You're not a wimp though, really. If you're going to see your doc on Wednesday and the wait won't kill you, I'd wait and deal with everything all at once. What if you were to call, get bad news from Dr. Random and have to wait for a plan of attack until Wednesday anyway? That's why I'd wait. Good luck with your decision.

I totally relate to that. You're not a wimp though, really. If you're going to see your doc on Wednesday and the wait won't kill you, I'd wait and deal with everything all at once. Thank you. That puts into words pretty well what I'm feeling. I didn't call and it's already about 3:30 so I guess they're not calling me. Onto the weekend!
