Do You Use A Laptop?
Do you use a laptop? Is it bad to be using it and TTC or even during pregnancy? Yes, Im wondering because sometimes my legs feel hot and I dont know if its bad or not lol!

I think it's not great for guys because of the heat. But I don't think it matters for us. I never thought about it!

I used my laptop on my lap my entire pregnancy and my DD was born just fine. I wouldn't really worry about it.

i agree...its bad for the guys cuz of the heat and the spermies. we have a little stand though that ours goes on and if i use it in bed then i put it on a bed tray

I use mine for several hours, every single day, on my lap. I asked the nurse at my OB's office and she said it's totally ok and not to worry about it at all.

I have always used a laptop, never had any problems TTC or with pregnancy.

I actually asked my doctor this and she laughed at me (as she does with many of my questions). She said using the laptop has no effect on getting pregnant.

I do.
When I was pregnant... I was a little nervous about it. I know I was overreacting, but I still did my best to keep the laptop on a table instead of my lap. Then, I had a MC and I'm not sure if that made me more nervous about the laptop... even though I KNOW my MC has NOTHING to do with the laptop. I think we just drive ourselves nuts sometimes.
Regardless... I just keep my laptop on a table MOST of the time if I can.

Thanks for asking this!! I was totally wondering this and then thought - stop being paranoid but now I feel MUCH better!!! I would put a pillow down and DH would just say - if it's going through your skin babe it's going through those feathers!
