Kinda gross, but here goes--how to get perspiration smell out of clothing?

Unfortunately, I wish I could blame this one on my DH, but I can't...it's all me.

I'm 2 weeks post-partum, living in NC where it's been 100 degrees for about the past 3 weeks, and I was sweating like a fiend for the last 4 or so months of my pregnancy.

I need some tricks to get underarm odor out of clothing. Yes, I wear deodorant but I always feel like I can still smell it when I take the wash out of the dryer.

I've been using Shout to pretreat the underarms, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Does anyone have any tricks I can try? I've tried Arm & Hammer and Shout--no dice.

It kinda smells too but will break down the oils from anything, including sweat

The make special "sport " detergents, maybe that would work. You can find it online.

Hey there...I totally understand your predicament as my DH is a construction worker and this can be a problem win the summer. A mixture of Borax and Vinegar should do the trick and used with regular laundry soap will not leave a smell.

DH's undershirts come out like that sometimes.

Tide with Febreze gets rid of the odor.

murphys oil soap or white vinegar for a soak, then wash through with regular detergant.
