BABYCRAZY!

I can't be the only one... I am totally baby CRAZY. Just the other day, DH and I were driving past a grass field and I saw a mother bunny and baby bunny jumping along after her. I literally shrieked so loud, DH slammed on his brakes. After I told him that no, he was not about to run someone over, I had just seen a cute little baby bunny rabbit, he made a U-Turn so he could see it too. And he had to admit that it was adorable.

And that's just how I act around ANIMAL babies. I was never like this - all mushy-gushy about babies - until ttc. It's like that impulse to mother has completely taken over my brain and I can't act like a normal person anymore.

But gosh darn it, babies are just so CUTE.

Oh ITA. We go to this outdoor bar/ restaurant every Friday evening. It's on the water and they have a band and as long as it's early it's a great place for parents to bring young kids to come and listen to the music. So anyway, all our friends are chatting and I realize that all I'm contributing to the conversation is comments about the kids, aw look how cute he is, her dress is so gorgeous, they're having a blast, etc. I'm already boring people and it's not even my own kids. LOL

2nd story, I'm dogsitting my parent's pug right now. Last night she was freaking out due to all the fireworks going off. I was really scared she was going to have a heart attack. After she fell asleep I kept waking up to make sure she was breathing. I did this all night. I swear if this is what I do for her, I'm never going to sleep just watching my LOs sleep.
