my chemical wasn't a chemical, it was ectopic
hi girls,
just a quick update on me....yesterday i went to the dr for another sono because my belly was hurting. i was rushed to the hospital where they confirmed an ectopic pregnancy and i was sent in for emergency surgery. they kept me overnight to monitor me but i'm home now. i'm in tons of pain and sadly they had to take out my right tube but i'm so grateful to be alive! the doctors say we can try again after one cycle but i can't even wrap my head around that right now.
girls, please please listen to your gut about things! we all know our bodies the best!! i've felt all along that something just wasn't "right" about this "chemical pregnancy" and asked over and over again if it could be ectopic. thankfully the pregnancy started to show in my tube on the sono before anything horrible happened.
btw...flowerwife.....you were right! (if you are reading this)!
i'm sorry to be a slacker FMOTW  i will resume QOTD tomorrow :)

omg im soooo sorry. but my RE told me that when the beta goes back up again, its the #1 sign of ectopic, thats why i thought it was when you said it went way up a few days later...
i hope you are OK!! you can still get pregnant with one tube!!!

Wow, so glad you are ok!! Ectopic pregnancies are SO dangerous, I recently lost a friend as a result of one.

Wow, I'm so glad you listened to your body and went to the hospital. Ectopics are so dangerous and scary.

Oh i am so sorry to hear that. I can't imagine how scary that must have been. I am glad that you are home and resting now!
Seriously - you are so good to have followed up and made sure you got the care you needed! I think it's so easy to start believeing as women that we are "Too emtional" or "too hysterical or paranoid" about these things.. especially as this whole journey is so emotional. .
so here is a big and for speedy recovery

I am so sorry for your loss but I am happy that you are ok. I lost a co-worker when she had an ectopic and bled out in her house before anyone knew she was even pregnant. 
Take some time to heal and good luck getting pregnant with a healthy baby!
