HSG results- So glad I went!
Just wanted to share-
So, I went for my HSG this week and I'm glad I did. We have only been TTC for a few months so I felt weird going for testing so soon after beginning TTC. I was going for a routine visit and the Dr. suggested.
Well, one of my tubes are blocked. The other was fine, but he said it could still be partially blocked and possibly lead to ectopic pregnancy. That would damage my only good tube and cause me to require IVF.
They are going to to the laproscopic procedure to clear them both out and they said it's highly likely that I will get pregnant right after that.  
The blockage could be due to endometriosis or scar tissue from my apendectamy a few years ago. (could have had an infection I wasn't aware of and it's common with any abdominal surgery to get blocked tubes- who knew)
Moral of the story: DOCTOR KNOWS BEST.

Thanks! He said we can begin to TTC again right after. I'm having it on a Wed and I'll be O'ing on Sun- Perect timing!

So glad to hear you are heading in the right direction. I am going for one after this cycle if I don't get my BFP. My Dr. told me too that most women get pregnant right after.

He also said that after years of NOT trying that there can just be mucus in there so it's not always an issue.

My friend had two tubes blocked from cysts and she had them removed...She had to wait 6 weeks after the procedure to TTC again and she got pregnant right away. Hope this is the same case for you! She was trying almost a year until she found out about the blockages.
