What do you girls make of this.....

First off, sorry this is so long.....
Today is CD58. Yesterday, I would have swore that AF was here because all day I was spotting brownish red (enough to fill a whole panty liner - sorry for TMI). So that is usually how AF starts....brownish/red one day and then the next day (which is today) would be AF in full fury. But there's barely anything today....just some more brownish/red...probably even less than yesterday. This is the longest my cycle has been since coming off BCP in October. I went to my ob/gyn last Saturday to discuss going back on BCP to re-regulate while DH works on fixing stuff on his end. They did a pregnancy test last Sat and it was BFN. I didn't use OPK's at all this cycle either b/c of everything that DH was going thru.....OPKs were just the last thing on my mind. We did a bunch of times since my LMP (which was 4/24) but I couldn't tell you when or if I even thought I was Oing. Also, not to be gross, but I've been so gassy all day today too. And I haven't eaten anything that is what I wouldn't normally eat. What do you girls think? Do you think that AF is just so messed up from all the stress that I've been under lately that it's so screwy that it won't even come normally? But also, wouldn't you think that it would be 1000x worse b/c it's been soooo long? I'm lost. I've also been feeling twinges down there on and off all day - which futher made me think AF was coming. Is there any way I could be pg? I know I should just POAS but I hate to be disappointed and I feel stupid b/c maybe I'm just reading into things too much. Please help and give me any insight!

Wait a few more days and see if AF shows up. I used to sometimes have the one day spotting like you described and then a few days off then she'd come full force (my cycles have always been extremely irregular).

On the month I got my BFP, I actually thought AF was starting on 4/25, the day before I was leaving for a 10-day trip to Ireland. Same thing you were saying (maybe a little lighter than you described). I packed all my supplies and off we went... only I never needed any of them...

Came back and on 5/10 there was the undeniable "pregnant" on the digital.

The month before I had tested around 4/10 (my LMP was actually 3/4) and it was negative but AF never showed. When your cycle is irregular, you just never really know when you O. But since you had signs your period was starting, I'd suggest giving it a few days (if you can take the suspense) and if TBAF still doesn't show, POAS. They're just a little expensive to be testing every day when you can wait a few days to see if AF starts and if not, then test.

I agree that maybe wait a few days and then POAS - bc it sounds like waiting for you might be better than the potential dissapointment. . .but if in a few days it doesn't then maybe a cause for celebration. .

Thanks girls! It's gotten so ridiculous now. Today there is like a little dot of nothing. Who knows?!?! And the fact is I'm just afraid to test because it's so very diappointing. With all that is going on with DH it would be such a long shot to get a BFP but I just feel like I can't give up hope on it. So, I'll give it till Thurs and then if still nothing, or the same, I'll test just to ease my mind.
