... and nothing.

I just did the math, and women with average-length cycles have O'ed three times in this same period that I haven't O'ed once.

Since I only get AF like 5 times a year, that's only 5 chances all year to conceive? Not cool.

Sorry, just needed to vent.

I have cycles like these my whole life but at least I know WHY.

I'd definitely see an RE Chat Icon

Re: CD 70

I've never seen an RE. DH and I are only married 2 years and just decided to start trying.

Regular GYNs just put me on BCP so I'd bleed every 28 days. I was fine with that then, but now I'm annoyed because it didn't solve anything; it just covered up the symptoms of... whatever is going on.

I have my first appointment with a new OB-GYN next week to discuss ttc; while I'm there can he do blood tests / sonograms or is that left to an RE?

I am sorry, i just recently got my period on CD 51Chat Icon Waiting for AF sucks big timeChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Ob Gyn can run a hormone blood panel (amenoreah), but RE would do a more detailed blood analysis. I would go straight to RE.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: CD 70

I'm so sorry sweetie. I know how you're feeling! I always waited until CD 90 to get my GYN to prescribe me the pill that would force my period, but it used to come around day 85 after a year or so off the pill.

Like I've said before, I got my BFP on CD 67, so you never know. But I think it would be wise to see a doc who understands your goals and can help without just masking the problem.
