Where are my fellow irregular girls??

So I am on CD 46 and nada, nothing, zilch is going on. According to my chart (not temping) it says I was due for AF last week. I tested, got a BFN. So I told myself if she doesnt show I would test again today...well Mrs. POAS addict ran out of tests so I have nothing in the house

So here is my question...
What are you girls doing to track ovulation? If you are irregular, are you temping and using OPK? When would you start temping? Should I wait until AF shows up and start with the new cycle?

Oh and if you are not temping, what is your BD schedule? Are you just winging it or did you set up some sort of schedule for yourself? I want to try the temping but dont know if it will work for me. DH and I have continued to BD just in case I might O and not know it. Not sure if I should for or for a BFP at this point

I on average a 45-49CD'r and well we just BD every other day from the end of AF till i get a + OPK than we do it everyday but no luck yet

I'm on CD 52. According to fertilityfried I O'ed on CD 37 so I'm 15 DPO and still no I took two tests and both BFN, so I'm just waiting for to show up. I had a little bit of spotting two days ago so I though I got it, but nothing after that. I'm just charting and winging it at this point.

I am also a very irregular girl (32-45 Cycles) and sometimes O and really late around CD25.

I started Clomid this cycle and O'd on CD16. So I am not sure when I should test. So if this month I am having a 'regular' cycle that B AF should be here this Saturday. I can't bring my self to test though, having a really difficult month.

I stopped taking the pill in October and I have been pretty regular up until this cycle (anywhere from 28-34 day cycles). I have been temping and according to my chart I have not ovulated. My temperature is still pretty low and I'm on CD33. I don't get it?? Should I be concerned?

I'm on CD 67.

I'm temping, checking CM and using OPK. I had EWCM and got a on CD 26. I was thrilled! But, obviously, I didn't ovulate or I would have gotten AF or a BFP like a month ago.

CM and OPK's are inexact - they only tell you that your body is preparing to ovulate. If you think you're ovulating, using them together is a great way to predict the best days to BD. And you can temp to see if you did ovulate, but you have to do it for a few months to notice your patterns. I've been temping for 2 weeks now and my temps are pretty much the same every day.

Stupid ovaries.

i am irregular. usual cycles are 35-39 days, this month is a wacho. I just got my period ( finally) and today is CD50. I do not temp, but I use OPKs, which showed no O for the last 2 cycles I have started accupuncture and herbs this month and this is what i believe helped bring AF, and not take provera having irregular cycles totally S U CKS

Ohhh my love where do I begin!! I came off BCP in August and probably have had 3 periods!! Now I'm 50 CD today and I have AF symptom for the past two days and NO AF!! Lets see sometime this week..

I'm going to start temping and charting the next cycle because we want to official start trying after the summer...

I'm always on this board reading ways for when the time really approaches.

I'm as irregular as you get... the month I got my BFP, I tested on cycle day 67. Sixty-f'n-seven!!!!!

I was negative on day 37 on the HPT and went to the doctor because I was having symptoms and she did a BT which was negative on day 40. She said she thought AF was coming any day then...

Never got AF and got my BFP on day 67. Turns out I O'd around day 45-47 that month.

I don't know how an irregular lady is supposed to chart. It's freakin impossible.

I am usually in the 35-49 day range, but lo and behold, start temping this round, and bingo 60 freaking days. Sigh.

I got frustrated with OPKs because, um 60 days? Thats a lot of sticks. So when DH and I discussed being a bit more proactive, I figured temping couldn't hurt. I totally mid-cycle just to get used to it.

For me, temping (this being my first go-round from the beginning of a cycle) feels like a better way to at least figure out if its going to be one of the 30 day cycles, or much longer. We shall see!

how long have your cycles been irregular?

mine were long too...and i went to my ob who did bloodwork and then i had a gut feeling something was not right so I went to an RE after about 7 months...THE BEST THING i could have done. Turns out my DH and I both have issues and we would have drove our self crazy if we kept dealing with my long cyles....1 month in with an RE and I had a cycle that was 28 days

I wish I could help more!!!!

I was on the pill 11 years and NEVER was regular before (got my period 3 times between the ages of 16 and 18 before going on the pilll) and never became regular after... For the two years after I went off, I just kept track in a calendar of the days between periods. 34...59...85...38...63... etc etc. We started TTC in January of this year. Despite the irregularity, somehow it only took 4 months. I was completely shocked when I got my BFP. I honestly had a doctor's appointment that Thursday when I was going to ask her about help conceiving because I was convinced it would be impossible on our own. She did a BT to confirm the pregnancy instead. I cried in her office I was so happy.

I want it to happen for you all so badly! I wish I knew ways to help. As corny as it may sound, I'm a big believer in faith helping to keep you calm when it's hard to find a rational way to keep positive.

and -- because the longer she's not there, the more likely the BFP is around the corner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have PCOS and since i have been charting, have never Oed earlier than CD32, when i O at all.

i temp. for me its the only way. it was stressful at first but once you are used to it its very helpful. i love that i can reference my old charts as well.

my first temping cycle i confirmed O on CD32. next cycle i temped for 67 days just to end up going to the dr. and getting provera. the next cycle i started clomid and went to an RE. even while seeing an RE i have continued to temp almost every cycle. i like to know exactly when I O so i can count DPO appropriately and also look for triphasic temps or know that AF is about to arrive if it dips at 10DPO. thats just me but especially if you arent seeing an RE, temping lets you know if you are or are not ovulating which i find to be the most helpful. that way i didnt keep testing if AF didnt arrive, cause i wasnt ovulating so i know i couldnt have been pregnant.

i am irregular as in my days change but its a pretty normal cycle length (24 to 30 days.
