Re: i think temping stresses me out lol
It's all stressful!! But this is why I don't temp. I think it would sress me out too much.
I use the CBEFM and so far so good... for me it's more of a thoughtless process... I pee on the stick when the machine tells me to... then the machine tells me what's going on. I know temping gives you more accurate information... but I just can't do that right now. If the CBEFM doesn't work by like Sept... then I'll think about incorporating temping into the mix.
I just wish that RIGHT after O... the machine can say... "hey you.. you are pregnant"... instead of waiting the 2ww out.

i never recorded it on fertility friend., well i had started to but then i stopped. i have charts printed out and i just fill them in by hand.
i started out steady...then i had a little dip but i had a yeast infection (tmi) so i think thats why....then it went back to being steady again. no significant rise. always hovering between 97.3-97.5

My advice is just kick back, relax, and A LOT between days 7-21 to cover your bases.

I highly recommend getting one. It just makes things easier! I know most are die hard tempers and not into the CBEFM. But I LOVE it.
I bought mine at CVS... it was expensive there.... like $200 ish. But then you have to buy the sticks seperate... which were like $30.
HOWEVER... you can get a set of BOTH the test unit AND a box of sticks from BJ's or Costco for a serious fraction of the price. I think the TOTAL for BOTH was like $150 there. Wish I knew that before I paid all that at CVS.
The sticks aren't too bad to buy if you think about it. You get 30 sticks in a box and each month you generally use 10 sticks... so a box should essentially last 3 months;that's about $10 a month. Not too bad if you ask me.
the first month or two it might ask you to test more than 10 times... this is just as it gets to know you and when you generally o.
I really like the machine. it's super easy to use and read. Just don't miss a test day (I did that once and the month ended up being a wash more or less).

Re: i think temping stresses me out lol
I can understand when people say that temping stresses them out. But honestly, the benefit of knowing that I Oed and knowing that things are working the way they are supposed to far outweighs any stress that I feel.
The other thing I wanted to say is, like rabbits for days 7-21 may work if you have a "regular" cycle, no more than 30 days. But that will not work for everyone. I am on CD22 today and still haven't Oed this cycle. Last cycle, I Oed on CD26. If I just from CD7-21, I would totally miss my fertile window and never get pregnant. I know you girls know this already, just saying it for any newbies or lurkers who might not.

I'm a late O'er too.... cd 19ish is when I usually o. The CBEFM helps me with that. But temping I think ensures that you actualy O'd. I'm trusting the CBEFM though.
